We search far and wide to find beautiful individual rugs made by artisan's in remote villages all over the world. This beautiful flat flat-weave rug was woven in the Moroccan Atlas mountains displays a bold abstract designs that are both invigorating and modern thanks to their tribal motifs, composition and exceptional colour from natural dyes. Each rug would have taken its maker months and sometimes years to weave.
In Blue this beautiful rug has a tribal motif that look like cross stitch. The patterns are in stunning colours both rich and pastel. The underside of the rug has the loose woollen threads from the woven pattern making it very soft and cosy under foot. The rugs are made by skilled Artisans as one offs in the Moroccan Atlas mountains, they show signs of wear, repair and colour variations from the natural dyes used, all these imperfections are signs of authenticity.
- 30 degrees cool wash, with similar colours. Use colour safe detergent, we suggest avoiding detergents that have optical brighteners as these can alter the colour. Low tumble dry or line dry out of direct sunlight.
- By washing all low temperatures you are taking care of the environment and washing in the most Eco appropriate manner.
- We recommend knotting opening ties together, closing button openings and turning duvet covers and pillowcases inside out before washing – which will stop other items entering the duvet and preserve print. To avoid damaging linens it is always best practice to ensure washing machines are not over loaded as the twisting of the fabrics when a drum is overly full will put excessive pressure on the items
